Instead of photographing colour families like we did for last years blog posts we thought that this year we would share some different colour combinations that you might like to grow in your own garden. I hope that one of these combinations inspires you to see what is possible when combining different colours of dahlias in your own garden.
One of my favourite parts of my job is harvesting buckets for florist orders and seeing how the colours all come together. It’s a visual delight. Hannah and I enjoyed combining different blooms together and challenging ourselves to try different combinations. I was suprised how much I loved some of the combinations that I wouldn’t usually put together.
Colour is very much based on individual preference. We all enjoy and are drawn to different colours. I hope that some of the combinations we’ve put together here bring delight to your eyes!
